A colleague/friend of mine posted a link to an article that I thought warranted further sharing. The health benefits of music and music education is often a hot topic, discussed among researchers in fields such as neurology and sociology. I remember reading a study with the topic of delayed effects of Alzheimer or dementia in elderly patients that took on learning a new instrument later in life.
